The Praxis Course

Awaken Your
Imagination for Redemptive Action

The Praxis Course helps you discover your culture-making calling and step into a life of creative restoration through six sessions of teaching, story, conversation, and practice.

What This Is

As the world around us pushes more hustle, more success, more self-improvement, we find ourselves wanting a different more. More meaning. More purpose. More of our deepest convictions showing up in what we do and how we live.

The Praxis Course is a guided experience designed to awaken your redemptive imagination—the capacity to see your work, your relationships, and your everyday life as part of God’s renewing work in the world—and equip you to act boldly out of love and sacrifice.

As you go through these sessions, our hope is that you’ll feel encouraged, challenged, and ready to take the next step in your calling toward the renewal of all things.

Why We Made This

Praxis has spent 15 years at the intersection of theology, culture, and entrepreneurship — working alongside founders, funders, and culture makers putting their faith into action.

Along the way, we've come to believe, in the words of Co-Founder and CEO Dave Blanchard, that

“risk and imagination and sacrifice, and a sort of eternal optimism … aren’t just permissible for Christians, they’re vital to life with Christ.”

The Praxis Course captures the core ideas and stories lived out in our community and opens them up to anyone ready to discover the life they were made for.

We designed the course for people looking for meaning and purpose wherever they are—boardrooms and break rooms, kitchens and clinics, study halls and city halls.

For leaders of churches, workplace groups, or other organizations, the course is also a ready-made resource for equipping the people in your community to live and work redemptively, no matter their sector or stage in life.

Session by Session
How It Works

Participants access course content and track their progress through a digital hub. The six video-led sessions contain:

Host guidance and commentary
Animated explainer videos
Core teaching around the theme
Short films of leaders living out these ideas
Key questions and practical exercises
Podcast episodes with extended discussion

The course is best experienced alongside friends and fellow community members. Hosts don’t need prior training or expertise—only a willingness to convene a group and follow the provided guides. Participants should come with big questions and be prepared to engage honestly with the material.

The setup is simple. We recommend that groups formed through a church, organization, workplace, or informal community:

All of the course content and tools are available at no cost to hosts and participants.
